Missouri State BMW RoadRiders Award Winners

The Springfield BMW RoadRiders wanted to again thank everyone who attended our 36th Annual Missouri State BMW Motorcycle Rally in Crane, MO June 20-22, 2008. Here is a list of those who one awards for various accomplishments/milestones. Each of the award winners received one free admision to our next years rally and will be recognized on our new website and Missouri State BMW Rally blog.

Oldest male: Phil Weber - 83 Omaha, NE
Oldest female: Tricia Taylor - age? We would never tell her age.... KC, MO

The ride to Rockbridge was wonderful. We had 17 bikes, beautiful weather and great food! What more can you ask for? Thanks to Barb and Max for organizing the ride. We can't wait until next time!

Meet at Cody's, formerly Hillbilly Bob's, at 125 & D
We will go East AD, South B, East PP to Fordland, 60 East to Seymour exit South K, East 14 to Ava, South 95 to N Rockbridge.

We will have lunch!

Return North P, West 14 to Ava, Stop at Soda Fountain on Ava square, Your choice for remainder of return.

Next Meeting of the Springfield BMW RoadRiders

Our next BMW Club meeting will be Monday, May 5, 6:30 pm, at Yen Ching Chinese Restaurant. This is located just Southwest of the intersection of Hwy 65 and Hwy CC, Ozark, MO (that would be across 65 from Lambert's) in the Towne Centre just south of Rapid Roberts.

I am told the food is very good and very reasonably priced. Let's give it a try. Hopefully, the weather will allow us to get some bikes out for a "ride to eat" meeting.

Ride to Arkansas 4-6-08

Springfield BMW Roadriders Ride to Arkansas




We had a beautiful ride to Jasper, Arkansas on Sunday, 4-6-08 organized by Barb and Max. A group of 26 bikes and 29 people met in Nixa, MO and road the back-roads and curves of the Ozark Mountains to reach our destination at the nearly famous Cliff House Inn and Restaurant. The food was wonderful, the view exquisite and the company, well, that is why we do it, for the camaraderie and fellowship and the chance to meet new and exciting people. Oh, and to see the bikes of course!!

Our 2007 rally was a success and with well over a hundred people in attendance. We are looking forward to an even more successful 2008 Missouri State BMW Rally. Come join in on the fun June 20-22, 2008 in Crane, Missouri!
